Anyone in the Southern Suburbs interested in making a study group? We could meet somewhere and practise our conversation skills and pronounciation.

Hi

I have just registered for the module this semester. How did it go?

Also, where did you find the prescribed book?

I've never met anyone studying Mandarin yet and have been terrified to consider it myself. How are you all finding it and do you intend to go on? Was the course accessible to you and how was it finding prescribed books? And what are your L1s (first languages)? You too, Joanne.

Im so sorry for my mega late reply.... I forgot about this site. Mandarin is ok so far. just the basics, but next year we must read idioms and articles in Chinese so I am sure it will get more difficult. I am finding politics and economics more challenging to be honest and am thinking about switching to a general BA with Mandarin. hows your studies going?
